Picture examples of the book 'Awakening', which combines photography and literature. The series consists of 17 pictures plus 3 diptychs. The image sequence is thought as a single dance movement, and the text reflects the series in two levels, single-picture and overall. It is a very personal project in which the artist portrays himself as he was waking up one summer morning. The text is available in English, German, and Spanish.
