Every tree is a sort of recording device of its life and its surroundings. When cut down, its growth rings resemble a broken vinyl record, one which won’t grow any longer. And yet it records the nuances of its continual demise as well as the imprints of human intervention. This series shows these records at different stages after some forestry activities during late Spring and early Summer 2018 in a Finnish forest. Pictures were taken in July 2018.
